Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor statements, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate records.
- General Ledger Support: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording daily transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports under the guidance of senior staff.
- Data Management: Organize and maintain financial data in our ERP system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
- Compliance: Assist in preparing tax documentation and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) is a plus.
- Knowledge: Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statement structure.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high accuracy in data entry and reporting.
