Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Data Entry & Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records in the company’s ERP system (SAP/QuickBooks) and update general ledger accounts.
- Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure all filing requirements are met according to local and federal regulations.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing inquiries and payment discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and familiarity with accounting software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze financial data with high precision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Soft Skills: Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience: No prior professional experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
