Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Support audit processes by organizing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to maintain accurate financial records
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities under senior guidance
- Monitor compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks/SAP software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts
- Proactive problem-solving approach and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- 1-2 years relevant internship or academic project experience preferred
