Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconcile bank accounts
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for transaction recording and reporting
- Collaborate with tax department to ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical precision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
