Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to the general ledger.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by gathering and verifying financial data.
- Assist with the preparation of tax schedules and supporting documentation.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the senior accounting team to identify process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (Graduates eligible).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA or CPA candidacy is a plus but not required.
