Responsibilities
- Month-End Close Support: Assist the finance team in the monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring all adjustments and journal entries are recorded accurately.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- AP/AR Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, verifying invoice accuracy and managing payment schedules.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements for management review.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and organize financial documents, contracts, and digital records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Compliance Assistance: Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (graduates welcome).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance; relevant internships are highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas).
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
