Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure all financial records are up to date.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions daily.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation, expense tracking, and audit documentation.
- Utilize accounting software to enter data and generate reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing a CPA track).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles is a plus.
