Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including invoice processing and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare monthly expense reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile credit card statements and assist with inventory valuation as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
