Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger entries.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the tax preparation process by organizing and filing necessary documentation.
- Perform general data entry and maintain organized filing systems for physical and digital records.
- Assist senior accountants with various ad-hoc financial analysis tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently enrolled/graduated).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications (e.g., CPA) if applicable.
