Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and general ledger reconciliations.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by collecting necessary documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for financial records.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and regulatory filings under supervision.
- Perform general data entry and ad-hoc accounting support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or an internship setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
