What You Will Do:
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable operations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting.
- Process invoices and verify vendor data for accuracy.
- Support the accounting department with data entry and file management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a strong plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with high accuracy.
- Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Process invoices, verify data, and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare and organize financial reports for management review.
- Assist in year-end audits and tax preparation support.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
