Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable duties to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to general ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and general ledger files.
- Assist external auditors with the collection of supporting documentation.
- Review invoices for accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role or internship experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
