We are urgently hiring a motivated Entry Level Accountant to join our finance team in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in our ERP system.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Support external audits by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and payroll support as needed.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial files.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (entry level candidates welcome).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
