Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Organize and file financial documents, maintaining an accurate audit trail.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and regulatory filings.
- Conduct basic financial analysis and variance reporting under supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 0-2 years of professional experience in accounting (internships are considered).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
