Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Prepare and organize financial spreadsheets, reports, and supporting schedules.
- Support the internal audit process by gathering and documenting financial data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree with expected graduation date within 6 months).
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
