Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify receipts, and ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist with Month-End Close: Support the accounting team in preparing monthly financial statements and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Maintain Financial Records: Organize and file financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements to internal records and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Support Audits: Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits as required.
- Generate Reports: Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and data analysis for management review.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships count).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Soft Skills: Proactive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
