As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will work closely with our senior finance team to ensure accuracy in our financial records. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform data entry and reconcile bank statements with internal ledgers.
- Support the month-end close process by compiling supporting documentation.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring all coding and approvals are correct.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
