Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card processing to ensure data accuracy.
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders for compliance.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system with precision and timeliness.
- Support the month-end close process by gathering necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
- Assist with basic financial audits and prepare required audit schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
