Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and journal entries.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process.
- Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Assist with external audits and internal compliance reviews.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role (Internships considered).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
