Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including data entry and invoice verification.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents under supervision.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- No prior accounting experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
