We are currently seeking a motivated Entry Level Accountant to join our growing finance team in Austin, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in finance.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and data analysis. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of the general ledger and accounts payable/receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and filing systems.
- Conduct basic cost accounting analysis and variance reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
