As an Entry Level Accountant, you will work closely with senior staff to ensure the accuracy of our financial records, support month-end close processes, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the external audit process by providing requested documentation and data analysis.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to track financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and organize supporting schedules and reports for management review.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external clients regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or significant internship background in accounting/finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
