Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process by gathering and organizing financial data.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Prepare basic financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing support under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology (will train the right candidate).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables and formulas are helpful).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
