Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation
- Support tax filing documentation and compliance record maintenance
- Conduct data entry in QuickBooks and Excel with 99%+ accuracy
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial analysis projects
- Participate in quarterly audits and internal control reviews
- Learn and apply GAAP principles under direct supervision
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong numerical aptitude and error-spotting abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial data
- Proactive learning attitude and willingness to obtain CPA/CMA credentials
- Valid US work authorization and reliable transportation
