Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Assist with tax preparation, filing, and documentation for corporate clients
- Support internal audits through documentation reviews and data analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Contribute to financial forecasting and variance analysis projects
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables and deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Sage)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
