Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Assist in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements
- Support accounts payable/receivable processes and expense management
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis projects
- Participate in internal audits and compliance documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing
- Collaborate with senior accountants on month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP standards
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software familiarity preferred
