Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow documentation
- Support internal audits and compliance with tax regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) for transaction processing
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial statement preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (CPA candidate) preferred
