Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
- Support tax documentation preparation and compliance reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and client inquiries
- Maintain organized financial records and implement filing systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience preferred
