Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and reconciliation tasks
- Maintain digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Support audit preparations and document compliance activities
- Analyze financial data for accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with senior accountants on budget forecasting projects
- Prepare basic financial reports and variance analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced startup environment
- QuickBooks Online knowledge preferred (training provided)
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional client meetings)
