Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing, including invoice verification and payment scheduling
- Support financial reporting by compiling and analyzing data for management accounts
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures under supervision
- Help maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with basic formula knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial data
- Willingness to pursue CPA certification (company provides study support)
