Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor management
- Prepare financial statements and reports under senior accountant guidance
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks
- Contribute to internal audits and compliance documentation
- Learn and implement GAAP principles in daily operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- No prior accounting experience required – training provided
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sorting)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach with willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license (for occasional client site visits)
