Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Support tax preparation and compliance activities for individual and corporate clients
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) for data entry and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting standards
