Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor communications
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules under supervision
- Contribute to audit fieldwork including document preparation and testing
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for client documentation
- Support tax preparation activities including data entry and form completion
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or graduation within 6 months)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills for client interactions
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
