Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support audit preparation by organizing financial documentation and responding to inquiries
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and ensure timely vendor/client payments
- Contribute to budget forecasting and variance analysis projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting initiatives
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFs)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
