Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements for SME clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing processes and journal entries
- Maintain accurate digital accounting records in QuickBooks Online
- Support tax preparation documentation and compliance audits
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of tax preparation software (a plus)
