Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist in preparing individual and business tax returns
- Learn and apply GAAP principles under senior guidance
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent coursework)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data sorting)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Quick learner with willingness to pursue CPA/CMA certification
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (for client site visits)
