Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit card transactions
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions ensuring accuracy and timely payments
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and accruals
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation in compliance with GAAP standards
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation for federal and state filings
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to manage financial data and generate reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies in financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
