Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Support audit preparation by maintaining organized financial records and documentation
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes for client portfolios
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite) for data entry and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach with analytical mindset
