Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Support internal audits and external examinations by providing documentation and data analysis
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Excel) for transaction processing and reporting
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations
