Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and regulatory compliance
- Participate in internal audits and assist with external audit preparations
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) to process transactions and generate reports
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
- Attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience preferred
- Professional certification (CPA candidate) a plus
