Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support audit preparation by compiling financial documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction recording and reporting
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, data analysis)
- Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- QuickBooks or ERP software experience preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
