Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and account analysis
- Prepare financial statements and reports under GAAP guidelines
- Support tax preparation processes and documentation for corporate clients
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for transaction processing and data management
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA candidates strongly preferred)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with analytical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
