Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Assist in preparing financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and preparing schedules for external reviews
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles including invoice processing and payment coordination
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and report generation
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis projects
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
