Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable/receivable cycles and maintain accurate financial records
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and documentation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- CPA candidate or willingness to pursue certification
