Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Conduct account analyses and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Support internal and external audit processes with documentation and data requests
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing and reporting
- Adhere to strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in all deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Fundamental understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- QuickBooks or ERP software experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively
