Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision and accuracy
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure financial integrity
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records in compliance with GAAP
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle) for data entry and report generation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data
- Proactive problem-solving approach with analytical thinking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to pursue CPA certification (company sponsorship available)
