Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Support audits by providing documentation and financial data as requested
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)
- 0-2 years of relevant internship or academic experience
