Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment processing
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining organized documentation and schedules
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis initiatives
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry, reporting, and process optimization
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA candidates strongly preferred)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience through internships or entry-level roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
