Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) for accurate record-keeping
- Contribute to financial analysis projects and budget preparation
- Implement internal controls to maintain financial data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or part-time experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- QuickBooks certification or equivalent software experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
