Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Assist with monthly reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and organize financial documentation for audits and reporting
- Support senior accountants with tax preparation and compliance tasks
- Learn and apply GAAP principles under expert guidance
- Contribute process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent coursework)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with basic formula knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to learn new software quickly (training provided for QuickBooks)
